i been in hk for a little more than a month now...
i dont know why.. i am actually starting to like the way i live in hk... i enjoy commuting around 40 minutes everyday on the bus... i enjoy going out for lunch with my co-workers.. i also quite enjoy knowing about the office gossip...
overall hong kong is a very different place but i am actually quite content with this place and working with this job
this summer.. i have rekindle or make stronger friendship with some people. i been having out with some high school friends and we became very close (who would have though). i had also been hanging out with my wlu friends and they have soon become a bigger part of my daily life.
but deep down, there are times that i know i want my toronto friends. some moments that i can never share the same with anyone except that one particular person. like when i walked by a street sign with cyrus.. we started laughing at the name because we understand what's so funny about the sign. but it wouldn't be the same when i explain it to jason.
i wish i can be at both places at the same time. or better yet, i wish my toronto friends can be here so i can see them.
my hk friends will never work up to the same as my toronto friends. like it just makes me sad that in one way or the other that we are collected together because we all have a bunch of special friends back at home and that we are just broadening our social norm to accept each other just simply because we have no one else to really turn to.
who would have thought i can become really good friends with this girl that looks and dress like one of the girls i always laugh about? (the tall heels with short girls, long dye hair, and jap wannabe girl) SURPRISE EH!?!?!
these are my ramblings. dont take them seriously. because they are not meant to be taken seriously. if you do, i feel bad for you because you are taking what is on my mind seriously.

i have met a couple of friends at work... and we went clubbing...
LOL.. its not the same.. but its not that bad.. consider the fact that drinks are a lot cheaper..
it was actually really fun... at one point.. we were all kinda tipsy.. and i just started to talk to people in english... and i met a guy from toronto who works for microsoft right now...
but i been hanging out with people older than me for too long.. this is the time where people my age comes in handy...
