i did a lot of "first times" lately... quite impressive...

what an interesting day...

today... i went home to markham. after class today, i met up with my prof and talked with her about my research thesis essay.
Then I decided to call Marilyn for lunch - it turns out that she's at the greyhound station waiting to go home. So I decided to join her - I ran home, picked up my backpack and ran to the greyhound station in 35 minutes! =)
When I got on the bus, this stupid asian guy was sitting next to Marilyn. So Marilyn and I were using our DS's pictochat to chat.
In the middle of my journey back to the sweet comfort land, I got a phone call. It was from my brillant younger cousin (the one who lives with me). Apparently Mr. Nice Little Kid Cousin got suspended. I needed to go and resue him. SO I came home, picked up the car and then went to his school to "resue" him.
So how did Mr. Nice Little Kid Cousin get suspended?
When I told Marilyn, she was laughing sooo hard.

SO Mr. Nice Little Kid Cousin got suspended because his hair was TOO long. LOL!!!

what is jackie's newest purchase?

Jackie, my roommate, is a compulsive buyer. He tends to buy a lot of things that are quite expensive. One of the games that we like to play with in this house is - how much did Jackie spend on a particular item.

Today at dinner - Kitty, Jackie and I invited Jacey out for dinner. As we sat and bonded with food... we asked Jacey to guess what Jackie RECENTLY got...
We gave her 10 tries.
A couple of clues (something everyone has, price range can be very big) One of them being - Jackie and me were playing with it while Jason was calling us stupid and looking at us.

TRY 7 was the classic.
Her answer was that Jackie had got something from the stag shop. Kitty, Jackie and my mind were like... Jackie and Lilian playing with something from the stag shop and Jason watching us play. Now that's creepy.

Anyway, Jacey has choose ranging from socks to clothes.

At Try 8- she guessed it.

incident with ira

Tonight, I decided to hang out with Ira. Our plan was to go shopping at Fairview then dinner then T&T then bbtea. We did that.
We went to Korean BBQ... oh my gosh.. we ate so much... and we developed a theory regarding how to eat the most... needless to say we were both full and dead by the end.
While driving to T&T... we were looking at the sky. There were 2 planes and they were REALLY close to each other. It seems like 1 is chasing the other one. Ira and I were watching intensely while driving. Oh my gosh - it was so intense. We were like... ooo.. its going to crash and we will be on the news because we witness this!

At the end, the plane didn't crash. We ate too much. I didn't finish my bubble tea.

What a wonderful night.

adventure to buy meat! =)

i am not a crazy meat eater. in fact, i will be a lot happier without meat. but i went on a meat adventure.
started with me talking to jacey on the phone and justin called. he asked if i would care to join him to go buy some meat. due to the fact that i was kinda bored, and i did study for a while. i decide to go along.
justin came over. i stopped talking to jacey. we left the house to get ready to go. and then farah called! (i kinda promise her i will go to the gym with her...) instead of her making me go to the gym.. i talked her into going on the adventure to buy meat with justin and i.
so off we went...
for a while, we got lost because justin took the wrong exit...
finally we got there safe.
i got a lot of random meat product! ranging from hot rods to corn! =)

and then off to our adventure back home. but along the way, farah needed to stop by zehrs - and we did. while shopping, marilyn called and said they got out of class early and asked us to go meet them for dinner.
we got to morty's and had beautiful wings for dinner! but then i didn't enjoy it much because i ate too much junkfood today. i had a tummy ache from eating so much. so i couldn't finish all my wings. and now i am home.

I am kinda bored today. I want to write a long entry. So I am going to think of something random to write about so Marilyn doesn't get on my case. It is also the last day of school this week, therefore I want to write a long blog about something. Let's see how long I can write.

Topic 1 - My Funeral
I was telling Cyrus Liu that I am doing piano again. (which is kinda funny because I do remember telling him that i am taking lessons. but it seems like he just found out) He asked me, oh what is with this "piano" business? I told him that I just wanted to accomplish something, like when I died, people can say. Oh Lilian Man, a beautiful painist. instead of something like Oh Lilian, the girl who was too lazy to wake up for piano lessons when she was a child.
Cyrus Liu being the Cyrus Liu he is, said "I will remember that. If you invite me to your funeral."
My reply was "If you copy and paste this conversation, this is your admission ticket to my funeral. I think I will be a bit too busy to send out invites."
Upon reflection, I realize I do like to talk about my funeral a lot. Reading my old xanga, I write about my funeral around once every couple of months. If someone is really following everything I want in my funeral. I am sorry that I am so picky about it.

WHY?
First of all, he's chubby. That means he's really good with hug. Also he has little elfs working for him. therefore i don't have to work and I get Christmas food all year round! =) Plus he only pretty much works 1 night a year - that means he can play and eat with me! THINK ABOUT THE FOOD HE CAN EAT! ALSO! he can stand me singing my christmas songs 24/7 12 months a year. It is simply brillant!

his famous line of "NISSIAN VERSA" had captured my heart. first of all.. he has the power of traveling back in time. that means if i messed something up, he will be able to make sure i am okay. oh i love time travel. plus he's a heir to his dead father's business.. meaning he doesn't have to work. HOHOHO!!! =) that means like santa.. he can play and eat with me all day long!!!


btw.. jackie is back.. and he's not telling me the girls he met in china.. boo him!!!!

christine and i came into a conclusion that i am allergic to waterloo. go figure. that means i can use it to go back home more! =)

Random thoughts... REALLY RANDOM thoughts

When I was sitting in class today, obviously I was daydreaming.
SO! I thought of different random things.

1. Marilyn - this is for you. A blog a day, keeps a stalker close by. MUHAHAHA!!!

2. This is a joke. I didn't make it up. But I thought it was funny, so I was giggling in the class and the prof was staring at me for it.
Why would the rabbit not want to go on a date with the zebra?
Because the mommy rabbit said people with tattoos are not good people! ! HAHA!!!

3. I was trying to imagine how my prof would look like as a hippie. Or maybe he's too old to be a hippie.

4. When I looked outside of my classroom window, I saw my cousin walking by with a girl. SO I texted him and he now thinks I am sugar high and refuse to drive me home for a while.

5. When you go hot pot king, there's hot pot and kbbq right? I wonder if you can put the kbbq things in the hot pot and vice versa...

Okay, this is the end of my really random thoughts of the day.

First Post in 2008

When people blame me for not showing up to things that I promise I will show up for- why don't they look at the other side of the picture?

This Christmas, there has been a couple of incidents with the same group of people that involve last minute planning. I am not a last minute person. Most of my friends are not last minute people. Most things such as New Years Eve, Christmas vacation and such requires a little bit of excessive planning. Meaning that I do have other people in mind that I have to be responsible for. When you blame me for "ditching" you, you should think of it from this perspective. I had asked you less than 4 days before an event if you had any plans in mind. Your reply was "we will plan then..." I said "I have other commitments to go to, so please tell me soon." When I did not get a reply 2 days before an event, I assume the event is off. Last minute, magically something happens. The world starts to blame me for no show. Does anyone think from my perspective? I do have other friends, family members, and commitments in mind. If you can't give me an appropriate definite answer - please don't blame me for "ditching" you. Don't make it seem like I am a savage for trying to get this point across.

I am ultra annoyed for a while now. This was one of the reason why my Christmas holiday season is ruined.



I also decided. I am going home a lot more this term because I miss Toronto.
